Change your Clock, Change your Batteries

The Florence Township Fire Department would like to remind you to change your batteries in your smoke and co detectors when you change your clock. If your detectors are hardwired and use batteries as a back up, you need to change them once a year. If you have the sealed ten year batteries then you don’t need to service them until the 10 years is up.

We would like to remind you to have an exit plan for your dwelling and practice it. Also check your detectors.
